BILWA BILVA BEL BAEL LEAF FRESH – 110 BRANCHES (not reinforced)
Bilwa leaf, bil leaf, bheel beel leaf, pooja vilvam leaves
The bilwa leaf is a leaf that represents the three unities in Hinduism: Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva.
In Hindu culture, the bilwa tree and its fruit are considered sacred. This is reflected in many religious rituals. The bilwa leaf is one of the most important components of worship for Shiva.
Many meanings are derived from the three-fold (triangular) shape of the bilwa leaf. One belief is that it symbolizes the trident (Trishul) held in the right hand of Shiva. It also symbolizes the three functions of creation, preservation, and destruction, the three gunas of Rajas, Tamas, and Sattva, as well as the three eyes of Shiva.
