ABONGRA BLACK 25GR

Herbaceous plant with very long-stalked, lance- to linear-shaped, slightly wavy leaves. The fruits have transverse stripes. The seeds are used to make the well-known abongra oil. The ripe plants are tied in thick bunches, laid out to dry in the sun, and then beaten out. In both Suriname and Curaçao, the seeds are made into a popular confectionery. In some cultures, the seeds are used for cultural baths and medicine.
